Regifting

It's Not Regifting, It's Recycling

Christmas is long past but the remains remain. Here is an interesting re-gifted gift we received. At least the giver was honest and said, "Somebody gave this to us and we can't use it.  Thought you might like it."  If you look closely, one of the bottles is missing. We tried it, and now it's taking up space on the refrigerator door shelf. I suppose hot sauce is like honey, it never goes bad. I just don't know what to use it for...  Maybe we can dilute it and spray it on our garden plants to deter deer and raccoons???  (P.S. I supplied the "Clear Eyes.")

  1. ... baked wings ... seriously ... or even bone-in baked chicken ... salt and pepper the chicken to taste, pop it in the oven with a little bit of water in the bottom of a shallow baking pan for about 35 minutes. Melt some butter (I usually use a stick to a jar of hot sauce). Separate the sauce into two half. Use one half to dip the chicken in with tongs, then return it to the oven for another 10-15 minutes (with foil on top). You can freeze the other half of the hot sauce mixture for later use or use it to brush the chicken with as it comes out of the oven (I usually make lots, as this is one of my go-tos for pot lucks)
